 Rock Band on Roland TD-12 with Ion Drum Rocker Brain This is a standard TD-12 kit, with PD-85's, PD-105, VH-11, CY-12R/C's. Didn't have to mod or do anything, just plugged the stereo cables from the Roland trigger outs into the Ion brain. In our case we had to unplug the bow/bell cable from the triple trigger CY-12R/C ride, even if the other end wasn't plugged in to anything (and it wasn't touching anything metal either), we got a lot of triggering even when we weren't touching anything or moving, don't know why. Also plugged in the stock RB kick pedal because I don't have a kick box (YET). Not a single mistrigger that we could see, although you if barely hit the cymbals they won't register... but it is hard to hit the cymbals soft enough not to register, especially while playing, you really have to try. The tom and snare pads registered EVERYTHING. Velocity sensing worked great too, absolutely nothing wrong that we could detect! Great setup, lots of fun! Come on Ion, start selling the brain seperately already!
