 November 22, 1963 Reaction to President Kennedy's death. This was the evening of November 22, 1963. On this part there is much reaction to the assassination of President Kennedy(which was a little less than 5 hours before this report). Chet Huntley introduces a segment about the events of the day, starting with reaction of a crowd of people near reporter Gabe Pressman's car in New York City. Later there are scenes of the motorcade and events in Dallas. Dave Wiegman's famous footage is seen with other film of the motorcade. An interview of Charles Brehm is also on this youtube entry. After the interview of Charles Brehm is a political reaction by Chet Huntley on the events of the day. Scenes of Washington are next on this clip. And last on this entry is a comment on the reaction of Senator Edward Kennedy on the shooting of his brother. Senator Jennings Randolph of West Virginia is seen at the end of the clip.
