The show features young singers singing the best loved Italian pop songs. It also features international guest artists singing Italian songs with the shows top contestants. In the April 4 broadcast of the show, they have only one International guest, Filipina singing sensation Charice Pempengco. The host, the judges and the audience was immediately taken by Charices awesome vocal range and performance. Here is a translation of the host and judges questions to Charice. Translation (with time marks when the questions were asked) by MariaGloriosa: From 3:34 - The woman says "Charice Pempengco, thank you, thank you from the heart, thank you, thank you...(3:42)..."Wond erful voice, big generosity". Then she thanks everyone involved in the show (i can't understand the exact words) 4:00 - The man says "Can i say something?" She says "now i was doing the farewell" the man says "yes, but after the farewell i won't be able to say something i want to say...i'm gonna say one thing to her" woman says "in english...or italian and she (the translator) will translate"...he says "you didn't received a gift from God...you are a gift from God...truly...congratulat ions". After this the woman says something like "we'll be back next saturday, see you then...by!"
